Enjoy the peace and quiet on 4 beautiful, landscaped hectares close to Mangawhai.
In a separate wing of the main house we have two comfortable bed & breakfast rooms available, each with a queen-size bed, quality linen and private entrances. There is a private bathroom with separate toilet. The B&B rooms are available for 2 couples travelling together or are usually booked for exclusive use so that you are not sharing the bathroom facilities.
Enjoy the covered decks with outdoor settings taking in the beautiful views to the Bryderwyn Ranges plus the swimming pool and bar/BBQ area. Our pool and bar area always proves very popular with guests for a quick dip or to laze away the day. Snacks and beverages available by the pool.
The B&B wing has a comfortable library/lounge where guests can relax and watch TV or read. We have a large selection of reading material plus DVDs for guest enjoyment. You have your own tea and coffee-making facilities available in the lounge area.
A full cooked breakfast is included in the nightly tariff, which includes our fresh spray-free produce and our own free range eggs. During summer months breakfast can be enjoyed out on the deck area overlooking the passionfruit vines.
We will happily negotiate a discounted tariff for couples travelling together.

Robbie and Vicki encourage you to make yourselves at home at Sunhill and will do their best to help make your stay a happy one, whether it be a short stop-over or a longer holiday.
We enjoy following a clean green lifestyle and we pride ourselves in being eco-friendly. Sunhill uses a bio-cycle system for waste water, eco-friendly lighting and no chemical fertilisers are used on the property.
Vicki and Robbie have had extensive experience in hospitality and accommodation both here in New Zealand and in Australia. They enjoy interacting and looking after their guests, encouraging them to feel right at home whilst visiting their beautiful property.
Both are keen gardeners and follow a spray-free, organic regime at Sunhill. The property boasts a passionfruit orchard and the fruit is sold both locally and country-wide. Vicki is a keen cook and makes a wide range of jams, chutneys, pickles etc which they sell at local markets and from the farm gate.
Sunhill is also home to numerous animals including sheep, cattle, chickens and ducks.
